Sevilla Ways came from a local decided to share the real legacy and heritage of his city. More than tours, we create connection with the heritage, from mudejar art to the hidden patios of Santa Cruz. We strive for being referent as regenerative tourism, colaborating with preserving Sevilla while we deliver genuine experiences.

tour guide giralda

Hi, I’m David, an official licensed guide, born and raised in Seville.

I don’t just show you monuments. I show you why this city has spent 2,500 years absorbing Phoenicians, Romans, Moors, Christians and the Americas, and why that history still shapes the way Sevillanos live, think and welcome strangers today.

That’s the lens I bring to every tour: real historical rigor, told the way a local tells it to a friend: with humor, curiosity, and zero rehearsed scripts.

This isn’t a standard tour. It’s Seville, explained by someone who lived it before he ever studied it.

Languages: Spanish & English.

Come walk with me , and understand why millions of people don’t just visit this city, but fall for it.

Our Manifesto

  1. Commitment to the city: Seville is not a theme park. It is a living city. A city with beauty, yes, but also with memory, rhythm, neighbours, contradictions and pride.
  2. Quality: We strive to offer always the very best, both in the visit and profesionally.
  3. Authenticity and closeness: We believe the best way to discover Seville is not by consuming it fast, but by walking it with attention. Looking up. Slowing down. Understanding what you are seeing and why it matters.
  4. Cultural connection: We believe monuments are not isolated attractions. They are part of a wider story that includes streets, trades, faith, power, daily life, music, food, patios, shadows and heat.
  5. Exploration and flexibility: We believe an official guide should do more than deliver facts. A good guide gives context, reads the city honestly and helps visitors connect with the place in a way that feels human, clear and respectful.

Why a Tour in Seville?

Because Seville is easy to admire, but harder to truly understand without someone local to guide you. Behind the beautiful façades, busy tapas bars and famous landmarks, there is a city shaped by tradition, daily life and unwritten local codes that many visitors never get to see.

A good tour gives you more than information. It gives you context, confidence and a more personal connection to the city. At Sevilla Ways, we believe Seville should be experienced through the people who live it, the places that still feel real and the stories that make the city worth remembering.

We believe local matters.

Not as a slogan, but as a responsibility.
To guide in Seville is not only to know dates and styles. It is to know how the city breathes, how people use it, what has changed, what remains and what deserves care.

We believe heritage deserves respect.
That means no shouting over the city, no turning sacred or historic spaces into a spectacle, no treating neighbourhoods as background scenery.

We believe visitors deserve honesty.
Not legends presented as truth, not empty dramatics, not a generic script that could belong to any city.
Real history, well told. Real places, properly understood.

We believe every great visit should leave something behind.
Curiosity. Admiration. Better questions.
A deeper relationship with Seville than the one you had before the walk began.

We believe in small groups, clear storytelling and meaningful conversation.
In guiding with warmth, not ego.
In making culture accessible without making it shallow.

We believe Seville should be shown with pride, but never with arrogance.
With affection, but never with cliché.
With depth, but always in a simple, welcoming way.

This is how we guide.

As locals. As professionals. As Sevillanos.

With official knowledge, open eyes, and a deep respect for the city that raised us, we don’t just guide tours. We guard a living heritage.

Preservation Through Storytelling
We go beyond dates and facts to resurrect the soul of a place: the whispers of Moorish kings in the Real Alcázar, the echoes of Jewish merchants in Santa Cruz, the fervor of flamenco in Triana. Every narrative is meticulously researched, but delivered with the warmth of a lifelong Sevillano, because facts inform, but stories connect.

Community First
All our guides are Sevillanos (by birth or by choice) trained in UNESCO heritage protocols and committed to authentic storytelling. We partner with local businesses whenever we can, because tourism should strengthen a community, not sideline it.

Sustainability as a Non-Negotiable
We cap group sizes to protect the city’s most fragile spaces, and we actively collaborate in local preservation and cultural initiatives. We’re guides today, but guardians for generations.

The Human Touch in the Age of AI
In an era of algorithm-generated itineraries, we choose slow, meaningful travel instead. Our guides thrive on improvisation, armed with encyclopedic knowledge and the instinct to read a room, not a script.

Seville as a Living Classroom
We measure success not in five-star reviews (though we strive for those too) but in the connections we spark, helping a visitor decode a Mudéjar pattern, or pointing them toward the bar where flamenco is still real.

Our Promise

When you choose Sevilla Ways, you’re not buying a ticket, you’re supporting a way to enjoy our city.

Every tour helps fund the preservation work we do in this city. Every story we tell is chosen to show you Seville’s real complexity ( its clashes, its blends, its contradictions) not the postcard version. And every guide you walk with sees this not only as a job, but as a responsibility passed down by the city itself.

That’s our promise: with us, “just another guided tour” simply doesn’t exist.
